Day 2: Hope Animal-Assisted Crisis Response

Mission Statement: “To provide comfort and encouragement through animal-assisted support to individuals affected by crises and disasters.”

About Hope Animal-Assisted Crisis Response

Hope AACR has more than 100 certified crisis response teams in 34 states. Some, but not all, of the crises HOPE members have responded to are: major hurricanes, wildfires, train derailments, and school shootings.

As you see, the animals are a soothing affect to people shocked by travesty. When words fail to describe how terrible something was, you can bury your face in the coat of a trained therapy dog who wants to help.

How You Can Help
